Roberto proudly served his country as a United States Navy officer, dedicating many years to military service before retiring with honor. His career reflected strong values of discipline, commitment, and loyalty, qualities that remained evident throughout his life. Those who knew him respected his sense of duty and his steady presence.
He was preceded in death by his parents and all twelve of his brothers and sisters. Roberto is survived by his sister, Eva Gomez, who remained a meaningful part of his life. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews—too numerous to count—each of whom carries a part of his legacy forward.
Roberto will be remembered as a man who endured great loss yet continued forward with strength and dignity. His life stands as a testament to service, perseverance, and family bonds that extend beyond generations. He will be deeply missed and respectfully remembered by all who knew him.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a vigil service at 7:00 pm and will be held at Crestview Funeral Home, located at 1462 North Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas, 79936. The funeral service will be Friday, December 19, 2025, at 11:30 am at Crestview Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, Texas, 79906, on December 19, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
