Ruben Nares

With great sadness and a piece of our heart gone, Ruben Nares Sr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 6th 2022. He was surrounded by all his loved ones in the house of his eldest son Ruben Jr. Ruben was a humble, caring, sweetest loving man. Besides being the best husband and father he took pride in, his other passion was fishing. One of his biggest accomplishments was becoming a successful business man thus beginning Electroplating of El Paso with his eldest son. Customers, workers, friends all adored him. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Carmen Nares, his 3 sons and their spouses Ruben Jr & Belinda, Salvador & Celia, and Albert & Maria Nares, 8 granddaughters Venessa, Ruby, Cassie, Demi, Olivia, Monica, Marissa, Melinda and 5 great grandchildren Eddie, Kayla, Kobe, Ariana and Aubrey. He is now reunited with his parents Pascual & Micaela Nares and his brothers Miguel & Manuel Nares and survived by his brother Salvador Nares. We would like to send out a special thank you to AM Hospice and their wonderful staff for taking excellent care of Ruben as a VIP in his final weeks of life. He will be dearly missed and will continue to live forever in our hearts. Till we meet again..

A vistation for Ruben will be held Monday, April 11, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79936. A vigil service will occur Monday, April 11, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907. A funeral mass will occur Monday, April 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907. A burial service will occur Monday, April 11, 2022 at 2:15 PM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79915.
