Ruby M. Berman, born on December 17th, 1923 in The Bronx, New York, to Jacob & Rose Berman, passed away on June 11th, 2013 surrounded by his loved ones. He always provided guidance and support to his loved ones. He was a husband, father, grandfather, great –grandfather and a friend to many. He had an unconditional love for his family and his wife, Helen, of nearly 67 years. He will be remembered as a decorated noble veteran of WW II. We are so proud of his honesty and faithful service to our country. He always had a positive outlook on life and was ready to conquer the world. He had a special love for his pets throughout the years especially his dog “Rosh” and his African Grey “Lady G.” He was always the life of the party (especially Karaoke/playing poker and loved by all of his friends). His poker buddies anxiously awaited to hear his stories and jokes. He embraced family gatherings especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an amazing salesman his whole life and even owned a men’s clothing store in Brooklyn, New York in the 1970’s. He was still working up into his early 80’s in sales. He is survived by his wife Helen, his children Robin & Larry Gold and June & Lou Kunkin, as well as seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
