Salvador Valenzuela, 62 years old, passed away after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. Salvador was first and foremost an ardent believer in, and faithful follower of, his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was also the highly-admired and beloved patriarch of his family. Salvador’s family was his world and he showed it every day with his selfless love and provision. His kindness, quick wit, and humor captivated everyone he knew.
Salvador joined his company, White Rodgers in 1996 in Juarez, Mexico. He moved through increasing levels of responsibility until becoming the plant leader in the Juarez plant of a highly successful team. Salvador transferred to a large Copeland Air Conditioning compressor plant in Reynosa, Mexico, later in his career and lead that team to be an award winner status. He then returned to lead the Juarez plant these last few years near family.
Salvador’s energy, passion and dedication to his team was clear to everyone that worked with him. His personality and enthusiasm left an impact on everyone he met. Salvador was a well-respected member of his company’s (Copeland) family and his passing is a great loss to that community. He will be missed as team member, colleague, and friend.
Salvador was an excellent example of love, faith, generosity, grit, and determination. His family is grateful to God for the wonderful years He gifted them with this beautiful soul and will always hold his example in their hearts. Salvador was predeceased by his father Jesus Valenzuela, and brothers Jesus Ernesto (“Tito”) Valenzuela and Lorenzo Valenzuela. And he is survived by the love of his life and wife of 38 years, Alma Valenzuela; his sons Salvador Valenzuela Jr. and Ernesto Valenzuela; his daughters Sarah Valenzuela and Esther Valenzuela- Martinez; his grandchildren Malachi Valenzuela, Paul Valenzuela, Nehemiah Valenzuela, and Claudia Valenzuela; his mother Abigail Guerrero; sister Ciria Valenzuela; brothers Javier Valenzuela, Robert Guerrero, and Richard Guerrero; and several beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and esteemed colleagues.
