On Saturday, November 29th, our beloved Sarah S. Liñan was called home, dancing her way to Heaven and leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. She will be deeply missed by the many people whose lives she touched.
Our mother was an incredible woman—strong, loving, and absolutely full of life. She raised four children: Ricky, Tammy, Sybol (Carlos), and Cindy with dedication and heart, and her love multiplied across generations with 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind 2 sisters and 2 brothers who will treasure her memory.
Ma had a true passion for dancing, singing, and staying active. She showed us all how to live with joy and keep moving, no matter what life brought.
She had delightful quirks too—like calling garrapiñados "Cara de Pinados," passionately singing her favorite song, Tu, Solo Tu, and rushing out to build tiny snowmen whenever it snowed in El Paso, then tucking them in the freezer to make them last a little longer. That was Ma—finding magic in every small moment and making us laugh along the way.
The family wants to express deep gratitude to her caregivers and staff at Simpatico for all the love, compassion, and wonderful care our mother received. Thank you also to the medical staff at Bienvivir for their support and kindness.
Ma, your love lives on in all of us. Keep dancing.
