Soledad Davis was peacefully called home on September 10, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on October 23, 1927 and lived in El Paso since the late 1950’s. Soledad was predeceased by her beloved husband Kalim Davis. She is survived by her daughters Betty, Shirley and Veronica Davis, her greatest advocates especially in her time of illness. She is also survived by her dear sister, Olga Ocon (California).
Her friends and family always referred to her incredible work ethic and integrity, always resourceful and kind, as she is of the generation of great values and hard work. She had retired in her seventies to care for her ailing husband. Never an idle moment, she was always positive and enjoyed the simple but beautiful things in life: friends, family, cooking, gardening and her birds.
The family would like to express gratitude to all friends and family who reached out during her illness. Also the staff at Faith Hospice, especially Jesus Sandoval, who was always available for compassionate help and guidance.
A visitation for Soledad will be held Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home - West, 5054 Doniphan Drive, El Paso, TX .
