Steven James Borrego

Paso, TX at the age of 66. He is resting in peace with his father Raul Frank Borrego and is survived by his mother Emily Baily Borrego, survived by his 3 Brothers (Michael Borrego, Albert Borrego, and David Borrego) and 1 sister (Amy Borrego), survived by his 7 children (Steven J. Borrego Jr., Jason Borrego, Leslie Schwertner, Robert Borrego, Lauren Harvey, Alyssa Borrego, and Rylee Borrego), survived by 13 grandchildren (Mikayla Borrego, Addyson Borrego, Emily Schwertner, Evelyn Schwertner, Claire Schwertner, Wyatt Schwertner, Alysha Borrego, Anthony Borrego, Ethan Borrego, Mathew Borrego, Waylon Harvey, Lennon Harvey, and Fallon Harvey), and survived by 4 great grandchildren (Solana, Gabriella, Carmelo and Jade Borrego).

Steven was a good man of faith always had his bible and rosary with him, loved his family and children

dearly, was a good provider who at times would work 2-3 jobs to provide for his family. He graduated from

Eastwood High School and married and is survived by his high school sweetheart (Kathy Wood). He became a professional electrician who worked for Titus Electric and retired with Bill Lewis Company. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, playing basketball, football and family time

A visitation for Steven will be held Friday, July 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A rosary will occur Friday, July 25, 2025 at 7:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 9:00 AM at St Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N Clark Dr, El Paso, Texas 79905. A graveside service will occur Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907.

Pallbearers will be: Sons: (Steven, Jason, and Robert Borrego), Brothers (David and Albert Borrego),

Uncle (Raymond Borrego), Cousin (Charles Baily), Nephew (Art Dominguez).
