Teodora Borjas

Teodora Borjas, a beloved and cherished resident of El Paso, Texas, passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on January 4, 1941, Teodora was known for her gentle nature and the love she shared with those around her.

Preceded in death by her father, Hilario Borjas, her mother, Maria Victoria Borjas, her brothers Alberto, Jose, and Hijinio Borjas, and her sisters Paula Borjas Goodwin and Angie Randell, Teodora is survived by a loving family. She leaves behind her daughter, Virginia B. Acosta (George A. Acosta), her sisters Maria Shenefield and Francisca Borjas, and her grandchildren Nick Acosta, Stephanie Acosta (Mario), Victoria Acosta, and Dylan Bryan. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren Jayden Acosta, Rayleigh Lopez, and Neilani Bryan.

A visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, located at 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas, 79915, on February 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas, 79907, on February 13, 2026, at 12:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas, 79907, at 1:30 pm.

Teodora's gentle spirit and beloved presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
