

Timotea Vasquez, 75, of El Paso, TX passed away peacefully on October 11th, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Timmy grew up in El Paso, a city she loved and never left. She worked at the YMCA for 30+ years and enjoyed watching her Dallas Cowboys, spending time with her family, playing softball, and having a drink or two. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Now that Timmy has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of her physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. Timmy joins her parents Ana and Enrique, and brothers Jesus, Alberto, and Salvador in Heaven. She is survived by her children Rebecca (Herman) Levy, Rene Duran, Peter (Dana) Duran, Abelardo (Kim) Duran, Yvette (Louie) Duran, Paul (Melissa) Duran, Lisa (Fernie) Ahumada, David Duran, Ruben (Mitchell) Vasquez, Mary Ann (Hector) Vasquez, 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Rosary services will be held on 10/18/22 at 7pm with viewing from 5pm-9pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Celebratory mass will be held on 10/19/22 at 10am at Little Flower Church followed by burial services at Mt. Carmel cemetery at 11:30am. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N Carolina Dr, El Paso, TX 79915.
