Tomasa Escobar

Tomasa Escobar was born on December 20, 1935 in San Francisco del Oro, Mexico and passed away on January 19, 2026, she was 90. She died peacefully in her home, surrounded by loved ones. In her early years, she resided in her native town, and later moved to Juarez, Mexico where she got married; then later settled in El Paso, TX, and she lived there for the remainder of her life. She remained a strong-willed hard working mother for large portion of her life. She enjoyed knitting in her free time and made sure her white clothing was as white as it could be. She is preceded in death by her husband Esteban Escobar, her parents, Florencia Aguilera and Donato Aguilera, her daughter Concepcion Ortiz, siblings: Concepcion Alomari, Abundio Aguilera and Francisco Aguilera and grandchildren Alma I. Sosa and Angel Ortiz. She is survived by her children: Guadalupe Sosa, Hipolito Escobar, Gonzala E. Jimenez, and Javier Escobar. Siblings: Esteban Aguilera, Soledad Alomari, and Juana Elkabachi. Grandchildren: Carolina Santoyo, Diana Sosa, Liribeth Gutierrez, Eric and Leslie Jimenez, Laura Pinales, Javier E. and Alexia Escobar, Emilio A. and Yosellyn Ortiz. Great grandchildren: Lealahni H. and Sebastian Santoyo, Arilene and Gael Martinez, Armando, Aleah, and Allyson D. Gutierrez, Kaylee, Eileen, and Aubrey Pinales, Alayah, Sophia A., and Monzerrat, Esteban M. and Belen C. Hernandez, Jesus D. and Ezequiel A. Franco.
