

Tony Gomez, 79 passed away on October 31, 2014 in El Paso, Texas. Tony was a brilliant man, a man of many trades. He took a lot of pride in what he accomplished. During his life time Tony was an inventor, musician and a biker. Tony was successful in starting two well-known bands in El Paso “The Jives” and “Mestizo”, he is considered an “El Paso Legend”. He was very proud in having the opportunity in playing side by side with Sunny Osuna. Tony loved his Harley’s and classic cars as well. He could turn any regular bike or vehicle in to something he would (in his own words call) “Chingon”. Tony is survived by his wife Isela Gomez, 11 children, 30 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren who all have a creative side to them as well. We will miss you deeply Dad, until we are united again we will always hold you in our hearts and memories. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 8:30 am on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at St. Patrick Cathedral. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
