Trinidad "Trini" C. Berumen

Mama, gained her golden wings to the golden gates of heaven on Sunday October 26, 2025. Mama passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Mama was born in Carroll Ville, Wisconsin. Mama was a savvy businesswoman and the glue that held the family together, she had a great sense of humor and quick with a joke. Mama would spend hours working on her crocheting, sewing, beading and was surprised when she found her woodworking skills. Mama made beautiful crochet blankets, doilies, crosses, scarves, bead necklaces, Christmas tree ornaments and wreaths. Mama was very generous with her craft items by making sure everyone received something that she had made. Mama was preceded in death by mi Papá Nicholas Carrillo, Mi Mamá Manuela Esparza, her sisters Emma Carrillo, Maria Jesusita Chavez, and her brother Moises Carrillo. Mama leaves behind her sisters Guadalupe Castillo and Rosario Carroll. Mama's family meant the world to her and with faith and love leaves behind in God's tender care her son Tony and his wife Cheryl, son Herkey, daughter Rosie and her husband Hern, daughter Virginia and her husband Howard, daughter Hortencia and her husband Jose, son Sergio and his wife Sylvia. Mama was Mama to twelve grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

A heartfelt gratitude to her daughter, Hortencia for her selfless love and dedicated care she gave Mama, putting her own life on hold to lovingly care for Mama until the end.

Mama now rests in God's loving arms and will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, located at 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas, 79915, on October 30, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will take place at the same venue on October 30, 2025, starting at 7:00 pm.
