A beautiful woman who dedicated her life firstly to God and then to her family.  I was honored to have her in our family and enjoyed every conversation I had with.  She was beautiful, intelligent and a caring person.  I will miss her presence but I now she has found a better place with her Heavenly Father and will wait for all of us.  Until we meet again. Velia.  You were so easy to love and respect.

Comfort & love to all of you as you honor your beautiful Mama/Wife/Relative/Friend today. Velia brought so much joy & wisdom into  this world that will continue to shine through all of you.  Have a beautiful day celebrating her life. Hold one another close as you share your memories 🌹

Mrs. Mendoza had such a warm and welcoming way about her and did just that when Loretta and I became friends 45+years ago. She was the mama of all and her smile did light up a room.  She created fond memories for all and will be sorely missed.

     I remember Velia's  beautiful smile when we started going
to the Church of Christ at Rivera and Luna.  We enjoyed singing, talking, eating with them at luncheons.
