Victoria Ruiz Perez

Victoria Ruiz Perez, a beloved matriarch and pillar of strength, passed away on January 4th, 2025 at the age of 85. Born in San Juan Bautista, Satevo, Chihuahua. she was a woman of unwavering determination who lived her life with purpose and grace, leaving a legacy of resilience and love that spans generations.

Through the many challenges life placed in her path, Victoria never faltered in her commitment to creating a better future for her family. Her wisdom and grit guided her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, inspiring them to persevere and pursue their dreams with courage.

Victoria had a quiet strength that spoke louder than words, showing through her actions what it meant to care deeply, work hard, and hold family above all else. Whether she was offering a word of advice, a warm meal, or a comforting embrace, she made everyone who knew her feel cherished and supported.

She will be remembered for her remarkable ability to turn obstacles into stepping stones, her steadfast love, and her profound impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a force to be reckoned with. Her legacy is carried forward in the hearts and lives of those she leaves behind.

Victoria is survived by her children Rafael, Rodolfo, Raul, Armando, Blanca, Araceli, and Griselda, 27 grandchildren. and 34 great grandchildren and 7 brothers and sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents Socorro and Maria Ruiz, her husbands Rafael Rodriguez and Jesus M. Perez, her brother Bernabe Ruiz and her grandson Gabriel Rodriguez.

A service to honor her life will be held on Friday January 17, 2025 at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N. Carolina Dr., El Paso, TX 79915 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.

Mass will be held Saturday January 18, 2025 at Our Lady of the Light Church, 4700 Delta Dr. El Paso, TX 79905 at 10:00 am followed by burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery 401 S. Zaragoza Rd El Paso, TX 79907.

Though she has left this world, Victoria’s spirit endures in the values she instilled and the love she shared. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
