

Yolanda Amezquita was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away peace- fully on May 5, 2025, in El Paso, Texas at the age of 70. Born on January 12, 1955, in Rosales, Chih- uahua, Mexico, Yolanda brought light and laughter into every room she entered.
She truly loved life. Her laughter was contagious and her energy uplifting. Yolanda had a special way of making people feel seen and supported. She loved spending time with family and friends, cherishing every moment and creating memories that will live on in the hearts of many.
She was the devoted wife of Arturo Amezquita. Together they raised four sons- Oliver, Jonathan, Mitchell and Chris-whom she loved deeply and unconditionally. Yolanda was also a proud and loving grandmother to Anyssa, Oliver Jordan, Hailey, and Dean. Her legacy of love and joy continues through them.
She shared a close bond with her sister Laura Gomez and always treasured their connection. Yolanda also loved her work and appreciated her coworkers. She saw her job as another way to bring joy and kindness to the world.
Yolanda was without question the best mother her children could have asked for. Strong, caring, endlessly supportive and full of life, her memory will always be a blessing to those who knew her.
A visitation for Yolanda will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936.
