Yolanda S. Euzarraga

Yolanda Sanchez Euzarraga (Nany) passed away Thursday October 19, 2017. A graduate of Bowie High School 1951, she later went on to The University of Texas at El Paso where she received a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1974. Euzarraga worked at EPISD’s Hart Elementary school where she was a dedicated bilingual teacher for 32 years. She is preceded in death by her parents Candelario Sanchez and Margarita Chacon Sanchez and her loving husband of 49 years Pedro P Euzarraga. She is survived by her brother Ricardo Sanchez and sister Anita Rodriguez, and her children Pete Jr. (Margie), Tessie, Alexander (Vassie), Yolie, Margie (Manny) and by her 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will take place Wednesday Oct. 25th from 5pm-9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina. Funeral mass will be held Thursday Oct. 26th at 9:15am at St. Pius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 10:30am at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers: Francisco Escalante, Alexander Euzarraga Jr, Pierre Euzarraga, Marcus Euzarraga, Matthew Euzarraga, Christian Euzarraga-Gonzalez and Joshua Quesada. Honorary Pallbearers: Angelica Euzarraga, Jessica Marquez, Joanna Hernandez, Devona Euzarraga-Gonzalez and Alyssa Quesada.“At Last, the skies above are blue.” Arrangements under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home, El Paso, TX.
