Zulma is survived by her husband, Oscar Steven Avila; her daughter Desiree Elizabeth Avila; and her son Jonathan Steven Avila; her father Felipe Scobell Sr.; her brother Felipe Scobell Jr. and her brother Ruben Salas.
Zulma was preceded in death by her mother Elsa Scobell.
A vigil for Zulma will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 4:00 PM. A memorial service will occur from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A prayer service will occur Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 5:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915.
