

Ann was born on April 13, 1943, in Marawi City, Philippines, to the late Antonio and Cristeta Sabatin Aragon. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, a Registered Nurse, business owner and full-time mother/grandmother.
Ann is survived by her children, Anthony-John “Jay” (Jennifer) of Cincinnati, Ohio; Antero, Jr., “Kent” of Beverly Hills, California; Aileen Garris (Joseph) of Elizabethtown; Andrei-Joseph “Andy” (Jaymie) of Nashville, Tennessee; her 6 grandchildren, Aileana Jai, Antero Joseph and Aaron John Garris; Arden Jayla, Jillianne Grace and Hayden Javier Avenido; her sister, Lanilei Vergara; and her brother, Joven Aragon.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Antero J. Avenido, Sr.; her siblings, Aurora Abanera, Arsenia Naga, Arturo Aragon, Elvira Noro, Zenaida Antique, Flordelito Aragon, Sr., Romulo Aragon and Edgar Aragon.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, and continues Friday, September 19, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 19, 2025, at St. James Catholic Church in Elizabethtown.
Final Resting Place will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at St. James Cemetery, with a reception in Batcheldor Hall at St. James Catholic Church after the burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ann’s honor to St. James Catholic Church.
