Barbara Bewley

She was a native of Boyle County, was a 1961 graduate of Elizabethtown High School and a member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church. She was a Beautician for 55 years and retired from the Turning Point.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lansing W. and Frances Evelyn Stanfield Bradshaw and a son, Mitchell Bewley.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles MacArthur Bewley; two sons, Steven T. (Cindy) Bewley of Rineyville and Christopher Lee (Michele Bowman) Bewley of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Robin (Mark) Deaton of Pikeville, NC; one brother, James Lansing (Betty) Bradshaw of Nolanville, TN; one sister, Pamela Kay (Daniel) Rose of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Megan Bewley, Adam Deaton and Abigail Deaton and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and continue after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
