Betty Jean Jenkins

She was a native of Boston, KY, served in the U.S. Army and was a member of E'town Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma R. Coleman and Joseph M. Coyle, Sr.; a brother, Joseph M. Coyle, Jr. and three sisters, Patricia Murphy, Sandra Kennedy, and Goldie Mae Coyle.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John William; one son, Joseph William Jenkins, Sr. of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Sandra Jean (Paul Wayne) Hinton of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Janet Crume of Louisville and Joyce (Jim) Plantz of Elizabethtown; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Glenn Chasteen officiating.

Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6 p.m. and continue after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
