Carey grew up in Northern California, working on his grandfather’s apiary and spending time hunting and fishing. He joined the US Army, serving in Operation Desert Storm. Following honorable discharge as a sergeant, Carey was a construction manager in Southern California and Western Kentucky.
Carey is survived by his beloved wife Brandee (Elizabethtown, KY); his children Cameron (Fort Riley, KS), Kelsey (San Clemente, CA), Airyanna (Lake Elsinore, CA), and Skylar (Wildomar, CA); and his brothers John (Elizabethtown, KY) and Devin (San Leandro, CA). Carey was a fast friend who loved and brought joy to everyone around him. We are all better for his presence in our life, and will miss him dearly.
