Carla Meredith Montgomery

Carla was born on October 10th, 1951, to the late Estil Carl and Joy Meredith Adkins, in Louisville.

She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and great-aunt who will be missed dearly. She was an amazing artist and enjoyed traveling. She loved music and had the most beautiful voice. Most of all she loved her family and will be remembered for her joyful personality and wonderful sense of humor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Carl Montgomery; brother, Buddy Adkins; and her mother-in-law, Norah Montgomery.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Stephen Christopher Montgomery; son, John Dylan Montgomery; step-daughter, Deborah Montgomery; and sister, Lisa Montgomery (Ron). She was also blessed with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, 306 College Street, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, 42701, with Pastor Dan Ford officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
