Chalmer Earl Hayes

He was a native of Butler County and a devoted member of Open Valley Baptist Church. He was a devoted family man and was loved by his family.

Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Sallie D. White Hayes; his parents, Charlie and Janie Embry Hayes and his siblings, Raymond, Laymond, Arlene, Thelma, Zelma and Betty.

Survivors include his children, Darrell Hayes of Cecilia and Debbie (Marshall) Peters of Eastview; grandchildren, Jason Hayes, Angela Ceesay and April Thompson and his great grandchildren, Brian, Jack and Chloe Hayes.

The funeral will be Friday at 12 noon at Open Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Malcolm Doyle and Rev. Lennie Welcher officiating. Burial will follow in Open Valley Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Thursday and continue from 9-12 pm Friday at Open Valley Baptist Church.
