David Mark Cooke

David was a native of Hardin County and attended Central Hardin High School; later graduating in 2007 from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Dietetics. As an Eagle Scout, David maintained a strong commitment to spending time in the outdoors throughout his life and completed the Appalachian Trail in 2008. Working briefly as a personal trainer he combined his passions for physical fitness, personal development and helping others.

He is survived by his parents Mark and Jan Cooke of Glendale; his brother Alan and sister in law Jessica Cooke of Oakland, CA; his grandparents Alan Burton and Jean Monin Cooke of Elizabethtown; and his Aunt Terry Cooke of Elizabethtown.

Visitation and memorial services will be held at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on Saturday, July 31st from 9:00am until 2:00pm. Memorial services will begin at 1:00pm. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the BBR Foundation at bbrfoundation.org.
