Debbie Lynn Cripps

She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to her parents, Charles W. and Rosie Jane Tate. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister. Above all, her world revolved around her daughter and grandchildren. Debbie enjoyed being outdoors and soaking in the sun.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cripps, Sr.; her father, Charles W. Tate; one brother, Charles Wayne Tate; and one nephew, Derek Tate.

Survivors include her mother, Rosie Jane Tate of Hillview, KY; one daughter, Megan (Greg) O’Daniel of Elizabethtown, KY; one brother, Michael Anthony (Regina Lynn) Tate of Fairdale, KY; two grandchildren, Madelynn and Greyson O’Daniel; one niece, Sarah (Stuart) Valentine; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.

The funeral is Friday, August 9, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

Burial follows at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 8th from 2 to 8 p.m. at continues after 9 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
