

Dianne Spratt Douglas, age 78, of Starkville, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at her residence on March 30, 2026. She was born on October 24, 1947, in Hodgenville, Kentucky, to the late Loral and Beulah Spratt.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. (EDT) on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Valley Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
Dianne was preceded in death by her beloved parents; her devoted husband of 34 years, Rev. Norman Lee Douglas; and her sister, Frances Johnson.
She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Lisa Douglas Lopez (Rich) of Starkville, Mississippi, and Natalia Douglas Estes (Joe Don) of Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren: Daniel Lopez (Janette), Kelsey Federico (Dalton), Mya Lopez, Samuel Lopez, Wyatt Estes, Emma-Pearl Estes, and Hattie-Rose Estes; and two great-grandchildren, Khari and Leo. She is also survived by her sisters, Judith Spratt (Vasil) and Karen Spratt.
For decades, Dianne faithfully served her church and community in countless ways. Her dedication included teaching Sunday school, leading Acteens and WMU, directing Vacation Bible School, singing in the church choir, serving as church pianist, coaching Bible drill teams, and offering her time and talents wherever needed. Her steadfast faith and servant’s heart left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Dianne was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and there was nothing she would not do for those she held dear. Her faith was unwavering.
Though she will be deeply missed here on earth, her family finds comfort in the promise of eternal life and rejoices in knowing she is now in the arms of her loving Savior, Jesus Christ.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Gentiva Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion shown during her final days.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Dianne’s legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
