Dora B. Daugherty Allen

She was a native of Hardin County, a homemaker, and attended Fairfield Community Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert W. Allen; parents, John Daugherty and Etta Ellen Goodman Daugherty; daughter, Louise Cundiff; son, Leonard Allen; six brothers and one sister; and two granddaughters, Juanita and Millie.

She is survived by three sons, Robert (Wanda) Allen of Cecilia, John (Sandra) Allen of Cecilia, and Carl (Sheila) Allen of Elizabethtown; three daughters, Myra Preston of Eastview, Phyllis Blair of Custer, and Diedra Allen of Cecilia; 17 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; and one special step granddaughter, Sara Ammons of Elizabethtown.

The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Brother Marvin Dobson officiating. Burial follows at Howevalley Cemetery.

Visitation is from 3-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and continues after 9 a.m. Saturday.
