Born in Nuremberg, Germany, he was a beloved father, brother, and uncle. Dwayne had a big heart, loved watching sports, and could banter with the best.
Dwayne graduated from West Hardin High School where he played varsity football and was well known for being a jokester. He went on to work for several years for Adco Construction as a heavy equipment operator. He retired from Flint Ink in 2021 after 26 years. In recent years he had worked at Kroger’s and most recently at Texas Roadhouse.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Yoshiko Bracken.
He is survived by his two sons, whom he loved dearly, Chris and Corey Bracken, both of Elizabethtown. Three sisters, Terri Bracken Sakano, Cindy Bracken Fedele, and Jacque Dunn; one brother, Pete Fulkerson. Also nieces, Candace Perry, Chelsea Buckwalter; and nephews, Michael Finley and Keaton Turner.
His body will be cremated, and a private family service will be held.
