Elizabeth "Betty" Payton Williams Neff

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Owen Neff; her father, Charlie Payton and her mother, Hattie Sinclair Payton Dailey; five brothers, Hayes, Walter, Johnnie, Lee, and Lenard Payton; and two sisters, Rosie Waddell Dailey and Lillie Payton Wilson.

She was a very beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She touched the hearts and souls of everyone she met, young and old. She loved cooking, dancing, and making everyone happy but above all, she loved her God. The void she has left cannot ever be filled and we will miss her beyond words.

The funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home with Rick Trumbo officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown City Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and continues after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
