He was a native of Louisville and was a mechanic at an auto dealership. Gerold loved fishing, traveling, and working on cars.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Lou Board; a son, Larry Romans; a sister, Nancy Louis Romans; and a brother-in-law, Ronnie Morris.
Survivors include one brother, Roger (Tammy) Romans; one sister, Joyce Morris; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Brian Combs and Donnie Davis officiating.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday and continues until the time of the service.
A private graveside will be held at a later date.
