She was born in Offenbach, Germany and was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing, knitting, bird watching, playing solitaire, and loved animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson Bonesteel; her parents, Christian Kissel and Anna Braun Kissel; and her grandson, Nicholas Gambrell.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Gambrell of Radcliff; her son, Bryan (Cheryl) Bonesteel of Bardstown; her grandchildren, Cody Gambrell, Bradley Gambrell, Chase Gambrell, and Tricia Humelsine; and her great grandchildren, Addison Hofmans, Ryleigh Hofmans, Jaxson Hofmans, Axel Hofmans, and Thea Gambrell.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
