

He resided in Elizabethtown with his wife Karen, where he was known as the Mayor of Pellman's Subdivision. Jacky was a former employee of Fort Knox Lodging for 30 years, where he was a jack of all trades. He specialized in construction and remodeling.
Jacky was the type of man who would take the shirt off his back for anyone, and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. He loved spending time with his grandsons, and was a huge Kentucky Wildcats fan, in all sports. Jacky loved telling stories.
He was preceded in death by his son, Travis Wayne Gore; his father, Raymond Gore; his mother, Leola Graham; and one brother, Raymond Lee Gore, Sr.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Karen Pellman Gore; his daughter, Emily Gore; one brother, Sam Gore (Tena); two half sisters, Brenda Turner (Larry) and Rita Faye; three grandsons, Weston, Waylon, and Connor; two sisters-in-law, Tamie Pellman and Linda Gore; two brothers-in-law, Dennis Pellman (Jeanette) and Randy Pellman; a daughter-in-law, Vanessa Gore; and several nieces, nephews, and other friends.
The funeral is at 2 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Valley Creek Baptist Church with Luke Hines officiating.
Burial follows in Valley Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, January 15th and continue after 12 PM Noon Friday all at Valley Creek Baptist Church.
