James Anthony Greenwell

He was a native of Jefferson County, a member of St. James Catholic Church and was a Farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James David and Nioma Unlrich Greenwell.

He is survived by his wife, Louise O'Bryan Greenwell of Glendale; four children, James "Tony" Greenwell (Martha) of Horse Cave, Linda Gilbreth (Marty) of Claxton, GA, David Greenwell of Glendale and Mike Greenwell (Paula) of West Linn, OR; four sisters, Alice Greenwell Huffman of Shepherdsville, Jean Greenwell Bridwell of Georgetown, Ann Greenwell Lichtefeld of Danville and Carmel Greenwell Bleemel of Mt. Washington; five grandchildren, Ben Greenwell, Kacie Meyer, Alex Greenwell, Anna Aksamit and Cy Gilbreth and three great grandchildren, Molly, Macy and Owen.

The funeral will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Ben Brown officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continue after 9 a.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home.

There will be a Prayer Vigil Service at 7 p.m Wednesday at the funeral home.
