Jennifer Sue Hardy

Jennifer Sue Hardy, age 67, passed away surrounded by loved ones on August 28, 2025, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, Kentucky. The extraordinary devotion the medical staff had to her was quite evident and was felt strongly in everyone's heart.

Jennifer was born on November 2,1957 to Houston and Roselyn Hardy. She was a member of Saint James Catholic Church. She was a devoted Catholic who was strong in her faith. She had a deep admiration for priests and nuns. She also loved music; especially Madonna. She loved to read. She was a proud graduate of East Hardin High School due to her drive towards success of striving to fit in despite having limitations. The accomplishments were possible due to her parents and Damon Ray for always pushing her to be the best she could.

Jennifer lived a fulfilling life.

She is survived by her sisters, Janet Hardy and Justine “Tina” Hardy; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Roselyn Hardy; and a sister, Judith Hardy Hartley.

Father Chuck Walker will be officiating the Mass.

Visitation for Jennifer will be held on Tuesday, September 2,2025 from 9am-11am at Saint James Catholic Church in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The funeral mass will be at 11 am the same day at the church. A burial will follow at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests donations be made to WHAS Crusade for Children.
