JoAnn Bush Payne

A native of Hardin County, she was a lifelong member of St. James Catholic Church and a 1957 graduate of Elizabethtown Catholic High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James E. Bush and Lovie Jones Bush and her husband, Harold Payne.

JoAnn is survived by three daughters, Teri (Mark) Stowe of Louisville, Tina Dinsmore of Myrtle Beach, SC and Tara (Jeff) Thompson of Elizabethtown; two step-sons, Steve (Susan) Payne of Hodgenville and Tim (Monica) Payne of Danville; one step daughter, Vickie (Bud) Judkins of TN; six grandchildren, Tyler (Carmen), Jeremy (Morgan), Blake, Dylan, Kelsie and Brittany; six step grandchildren, Brandon, Leslie, Kevin, Nathan, Taylor and Jarrett; great-grandchildren, Graham, Hudson, Ellie and Mariam and a wonderful brother and sister-in-law, James Lee and Brenda Bush of Elizabethtown.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Father Ben Brown officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
