She was a native of Hardin County and retired from Communicare.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Virgil and Margaret "Peggy" Buchanan and a sister, Rebecca (Becky) Buchanan.
She is survived by two brothers, Richard Byron Buchanan (Pam) of Miami, FL and John William Buchanan (Alison) of Valparaiso, IN.
A Memorial Service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
