Mary Magdlen Hines

She was a native of New Haven and a member of Youngers Creek Baptist Church and a former member of TOPS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Gilbert and Annie Marie Newton Lucas; one son, Ernest Hines, Jr.; a daughter, Joyce Ann Hines; a brother, James Lucas and sisters, Edna Dones, Agnes McMillen and Elizabeth Edlin.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest "Ernie" Hines; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Hines of Elizabethtown; one brother, Joseph "PeeWee" Lucas of Elizabethtown; a sister, Theresa Williams of Texas; a grandson, Darrel (Vicky) Hines of Elizabethtown and a great granddaughter, Ariel Hines.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Youngers Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continue after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
