

She was a native of Nelson County, was a graduate of East Hardin High School where she was a cheerleader and mat maid. May worked for E'town Laundry for 25 years and loved to garden. She was a loving person, always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Edward Hellard and a special nephew, Eric Hellard.
Survivors include her life partner of 24 years, David Davis; one son, Justin Dailey (Jessica) of Elizabethtown; her mother, Betty Lorene Hellard of Elizabethtown; one brother, Charles Hellard (Theresa) of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Stephanie Campbell (Mike) of Milton, WV, Patricia Hellard (Stan Martin) of Elizabethtown and Vicki Orem (Randy) of Mesa, AZ; three grandchildren, Anna Mae, Jaxson and Abby and two nephews, Michael Hellard and John Daugherty.
The funeral will be Monday at 6 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
