

She was born on July 10, 1933, in Estill County, Kentucky to the late Asa and Dorsey Snowden.
Mildred was a long-time member of Colesburg Baptist Church and an avid member of TOPS (Take off Pounds Sensibly). She loved coffee, taking drives, the Gaither Vocal Band, spending time with family, and listening to her daughter, Paula, sing and play guitar.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 72 years, Robert Hines; a brother, Jack Snowden; and a sister, Valasta Barnes.
Survivors include three daughters, Theresa Porter, Lori (Dale) Sprengeler, and Paula (Bill) Pennington; eight grandchildren, April and Robert Porter, Daniel (Christina) Shepard, Katie (Anthony Woods) Shepard, Faith (Torey Brannan) Sprengeler, and Joseph, Talon (Chris Richardson), Cara Pennington; ten great grandchildren, Lou, Ava, Asa, Dion, Naomi, Aria, Dook, Tucker, Leah, Grayson, and Ada; sister, Dean Coy; several nieces and nephews; and special mention, Nicole Shepard.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Johannesburg Boulware Jr. officiating.
Burial follows at 2:30 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, at 10 a.m. and will continue until the time of service at the funeral home.
