

He was a lifelong farmer who was well known and loved by the farming community. He was a small business owner for most of his life. His love for his family and farming was well known by all those that knew him.
He was the farm manager at K & K Farms and owned and operated Hayden Outdoor Power with his wife. He could repair anything from a weed trimmer to a combine, a "jack of all trades" and a master of many. He was a good Christian man and a lifelong member of First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, J. B. Hayden, Jr.; an uncle, Kenneth Hayden; and a nephew, Charlie Andrew Green, III.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Teresa; his mother, Mary Alice Hayden; two daughters, Erika (Jamie) Watkins and Jessica (Jordan) Weaver; three grandchildren, Emma and Jenna Watkins and Hayden Weaver and a sister, Carol (David) Reed.
The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Kiger and Randy Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
