Phillip Odel Carter

He was a native of Hodgenville and medic in the Army. He loved God, his country and his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Owen and Mattie Lee Carter, 1 brothers; Bobby Carter, 2 sisters; Geraldine Seng and Mary K. Taylor.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years; Kay Carter of Hodgenville, 3 sons; Steven Wayne Carter of Etown, Andy (Alison) Carter of Hodgenville, and Brett (Ashley) Carter of Hodgenville, 1 daughter; Leah Carter of Horse Cave, 2 brothers; Owen (Linda) and Ronnie (Linda) Carter both of Hodgenville, 8 grandchildren; Joshua Steven (Brandi) Carter, Kayla Lawler, Kobe Lee Peters, Emma, Ella, Elijah, Aven Lee, and Ruby Kay Carter, 4 great grandchildren; Jaxton and Jake Carter, Brooklyne Starks and Aaleah Moore.

The funeral will be Friday, April 29 at 1:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. John Board officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 28 from 4-8pm at Brown Funeral Home and continuing after 9:00 am on Friday.
