He was a native of Hardin County and worked in construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Orlene Hawkins; two sisters, Carolyn Hawkins and Ethelene "Nene" Denissoff; and brother, Davie Hawkins.
He is survived by his son, Pat Hawkins of Falls of Rough, KY; daughter, Heather Hawkins of Hodgenville, KY; five sisters, Kay, Fay, Teresa, Pam, and Patty; and three grandchildren, Izabel Barcenes, Aaron Hawkins, and Jacob Newton; one great grandchild, Paislee Newton; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
