Ronnie Compton

He was a native of Hardin County, built homes for close to 50 years, and was an avid UK basketball fan.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Compton; son-in-law, Trey Coates; three brothers, Norman, Bobby Joe, and Dennis Compton; and parents, Stanley and Pauline Smallwood Compton.

He is survived by three sons, Ronnie (Kim) Compton, David (Angela) Compton, and Matt Compton; three daughters, Kim Coates, Kristy (Jason) Comstock, and Sarah (Adam) Byler; two sisters, Linda Stopher and Connie Stribling; sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
