She was a native of Hardin County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ray Lyons; her parents, Joe Marion and Eva Miles Ashlock; and her siblings, John Ashlock, Ira Ashlock, Jessie Ashlock, Virlie Basham and Pearlie Lyons.
Survivors include her son, Johnny (Carolyn) Lyons of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Kathy Lee (Thomas) of Smith Grove, Karen Lyons of Jacksonville, FL and Jason Lyons (Stacie) of Hodgenville; two great grandchildren, John Thomas Lee and Elizabeth Ann Lee; one step great grandson, Justin Brock and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service will be Sunday at 12 noon at Hardin Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. and continue after 11 a.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home.
