Ruby Whalen

She was a native of Upton, KY and a seamstress at Fort Knox and Dixie Cleaners.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Douglas Whalen, Sr.; two sons, Phillip Norman Whalen and James William Whalen; one daughter, Winifred Joyce Raynor and her parents, James and Martha Moore.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Douglas Whalen, Jr. of Covington and Donald Eugene Whalen, Sr. of Louisville; one daughter, Martha E. Williams of Elizabethtown and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

The funeral will be Saturday at 12 noon at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and continue after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
