Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Joy Blair Weekes; two children, Matthew (Amy) Weekes and Stephenie Shumate; two brothers, Peter (Linda) Weekes and Robert (Julie) Weekes; two sisters, Nancy Valkenburg and Janice Roland; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alex, Nate, Olivia and Henry; one great grandchild, Ashton and his dog DJ.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
