

He was an environmental servicer for Baptist Health Hardin and a member of Brooks Baptist Church. He was a huge Star Wars and Kentucky fan, and the most kind hearted person you could meet. He loved to tell dad jokes.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Melissa Jones of Radcliff; his mother, Jeanette Jones of Rineyville; his children, Jeffrey (Michelle) Jones and Ashley (Dave) Thompson, both of Radcliff; two grandchildren who were the pride of his life, Summer Rayne Thompson and David "Doop" Thompson; and several uncles, nieces, and cousins.
The funeral is Thursday, February 3rd at 11 a.m. at Brooks Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Weber officiating.
Burial will follow in Rineyville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and continue after 9 a.m. Thursday at the church.
