Timothy Alan Culver, 58, passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith. A devoted husband, father, papaw, son, brother, and friend, Tim lived his life with deep purpose, humility, heart and laughs.
Tim was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served in Operation Desert Storm, where he spent months overseas in service to his country. His time in the military shaped his strength of character and deepened the honesty, discipline, and quiet courage that defined him.
After returning home, he began a 32-year career with Ford Motor Company — a commitment to hard work and dedication that few can match. But as hardworking as he was, Tim always made time for what mattered most: his faith, his family, and the people around him.
He was a man of Christ — one who not only read his Bible but lived it. His life was a reflection of his faith: steady, loving, honest, and free, no matter where he was he carried a spirit that made people feel seen, valued, and uplifted.
Tim had a gift for laughter. His smile lit up every room and golf course, and his laugh — contagious and genuine — often echoed behind him long after he’d walked away. He had the rare ability to make everyone feel like family. To know him was to love him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents: Dora Hinton Cartwright, William Anthony Cartwright, Nancy Elizabeth Rogers Culver, and Victor O’Connell Culver.
Tim is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Amy, whom he affectionately called “his person.” He is also survived by his mother, Sue Shipley (Ancil), and his father, Victor Culver (Jane); his children: Erin Corvin (Chad), Alan Culver (Ashly), Samantha Argenbright (Trevor), Brittany Brown (Jordan), and Caleb Persinger (Kaitlyn); and by ten grandchildren who were the absolute light of his life. He cherished his role as “Papaw/Pawpaw” and never missed a chance to tell someone how proud he was of them.
Also carrying on his memory are his beloved fur baby Cali, his sister Tammy Reesor (Jerry), brother Tony Culver (Pat), and his nieces and nephew, who adored their Uncle Bo.
Tim’s life was marked by integrity, loyalty, and boundless love. He gave of himself freely, whether through his service, his work, or simply his presence. His was a life well-lived — rich in laughter, grounded in faith, and overflowing with love.
He will be missed more than words can express and remembered with every shared story, every heartfelt laugh, and every quiet moment of peace.
There will be a private burial of his ashes at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central on a later date.
John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
