

She was born near White Mills to Harvey and Flora Cave Copelin. Tommie was a faithful member of Center Point Baptist Church where she loved to sing in the choir. In 1972-73 she served as president of the Hardin County Homemakers. She was a loving supporter of her husband and family, wonderful cook, and excellent seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, C.M. Hill; two sisters, Virginia Oldham and Maribelle Lee; and a brother, Edward Copelin.
She is survived by a son, Don Hill (Mary Lois) and a daughter, Wanda Lynn Hill Farrelly of Elizabethtown; a sister-in-law, Ellen Westmoreland (Larry) of Spring Hill, Florida; four grandchildren, Blake Duggins, Cris Riney, and Mary Donna Atcher all of Elizabethtown, and Amanda Leigh Simpson of Bloomfield; and 13 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Drew and Hadlee Duggins; Taylor, Bailey and Sydney Thomas; Addie Leigh, Sadie Grace, and Whitley Hill Atcher all of Elizabethtown; and Jessa, Jake, Janie, and Jase Simpson of Bloomfield.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home with Mathew Priddy officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and continues at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
