Virginia Ilene Smith Wix

She was a native of Macon County, TN, was a dental assistant, and attended Hardin County Church of Christ. She was a very strong Christian woman who served the Lord for many years and enjoyed making quilts and reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlean Wix; her parents, George and Dalla Smith; and six siblings, Louise Jones, George Smith Jr., Leler Smith, Jackie Smith, Jerry Wayne Smith, and Elmer Lee Smith.

She is survived by her son, Billy Lamon Wix of Buffalo; daughter, Missy (Tony) Wilkerson of Magnolia; brother, Thomas Smith of TN; two sisters, Lynn Hoskins of TN and Thelma Groce of KY; and five grandchildren, Kirsten Cohen, Corey Cohen, Jennifer Wix, Josh Dengler, and Cody French.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home with Minister Michael Parks officiating.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff.
